Ring of Kerry
One of the most beautiful parts of Ireland is the Ring of Kerry. Killarney is a popular centre ideal for exploring the surrounding mountains and lakes and visiting such scenic landscapes as the Dingle Peninsula. From Killarney, Torc Mountain can be climbed and there are cycle routes or walks around the Muckross Lake Loop.
Hiking in Ireland
There are endless opportunities for hiking and walking with varying degrees of difficulty. Lakeside paths are popular for the casual walker but if you want to get into the serious stuff, you might like to try the mountains of Errigal or Derryveagh in County Donegal for breath-taking beauty.
