Springtime Knitting in Tuscany

Join renowned textile designer Carol Meldrum for a leisurely knitting week at The Watermill at Posara (4-11 May), a creative learning retreat set within a complex of historic Tuscan buildings, near the medieval town of Fivizzano.

Create a bespoke poncho, with advice on how to alter knitting patterns to best suit your own height and shape, with a mini-project in which guests can knit or crochet a corsage inspired by the Watermill’s gardens.

The cost is from £1,640 pp (two sharing), including tuition, seven nights’ full board (including local restaurants), drinks, transfers (Pisa) and a mid-week excursion (Lucca or the Cinque Terre). Flights extra.

Contact The Watermill at Posara on 020 7193 6246 (watermill.net).
