Pentire Penthouse, located in North Cornwall, has just announced it will be offering a choice of new learn to surf breaks to make it the go-to family/group holiday to be more active, spend less time at passport control and get outside whatever the weather. With a surf school and surf beach a few minutes walk away, bed to board couldn’t be easier.
Sleeping up to ten in four ensuite bedrooms overlooking the home of British surfing, Fistral Beach, Pentire is the perfect pad for budding wave riders – be it a multi-generational family or a group of friends. The new ‘stay and surf’ packages cost as little at £149 per person for a weekend and the week long family breaks are for those as young as six years old up until anyone who’s still happy to squeeze into a wetsuit.
Pentire is part of the Tregulland & Co stable properties and a partnership has been set up with Fistral Beach Surf School who are located just a few minutes walk from the penthouse to offer guests a special ‘Surfsup’ learn to surf package. Prices based on a group of eight start from £141pp for the week or £78.50pp for the weekend with improver, intermediate or advanced lessons available on request.

What’s more, budding surfers booking the package will receive a 10% saving on accommodation booked at Pentire Penthouse before 31 March on all stays throughout 2018.
Accommodation
Pentire is a roomy penthouse with a private club hotel feel (vintage leather chairs, Ren toiletries and deeply comfortable beds) overlooking Fistral beach in Cornwall, sleeping up to eight in four double rooms.
It’s the ultimate surfers pad; futuristic in style, spanning two levels, floor-to-ceiling windows and views towards the beach (just a couple of minutes stroll away). Minutes from Newquay airport means a short break from London, Birmingham or Manchester with surfing, good food, fresh air and fine sea views is just a short flight away. Alternatively, there are good rail connections at Newquay station, just 10 minutes in a taxi.
Pentire provides a stylish spot to kick back and take in the breathtaking sea views; from the large circular open-plan living room to an enormous double bed in the master bedroom (with its own huge living area) and the sun-trap terrace, complete with a luxurious eight person hot tub. Although car parking is available, it’s well located for those hoping to explore without transport; great dining and shops are all close by.
Family/ friends surf week
Spend seven nights at Pentire and enjoy six days hire of all the kit you need to learn. The first three days include a two-hour surfing lesson every morning, leaving those who’ve got the energy to play in the waves in the afternoon. The final three days can be spent honing new found wave riding skills with some gentle or gnarly practice.

Family / friends surf weekend
Spend three nights at Pentire and enjoy two days hire of all the kit you need to learn. Saturday and Sunday mornings include a two-hour surfing lesson, leaving those who’ve got the energy to play in the waves in the afternoon. Hit the hot tub back at Pentire for sundowners.
Price: accommodation and surfing from Friday-Monday during low season (November-February) is priced from £1167 (£146pp based on eight sharing/surfing) when booked by 31 March to take advantage of Pentire’s 10% accommodation saving when booked as part of the surfing package.

The surf breaks pricing is based on a single instructor for each beginner group of four or eight and high quality kit (surfboard and wetsuit) is provided to surf. The instructors are experienced surfers who are passionate about surfing and getting everyone involved.
