London’s most in demand and discreet skincare and wellness clinic, Nuriss, has opened its first international medi-spa on the slopes of Courchevel, at the luxurious, 5-star, Hotel La Sivolière.
The brand new, Nuriss at La Sivolière, offers a unique, ‘après-ski’ treatment menu – created by GP, dermatologist and founder of Nuriss, Dr AJ Sturnham – designed to help the skin and body, repair and recover, after a hard day on the slopes. The hotel, which is known as the ‘best kept secret in Courchevel’ will now host the only doctor-led spa in Courchevel, bringing high-tech treatments using non-invasive, medical-grade devices to the mountains for the very first time.
“Nuriss has been approached to open international clinics before but none of them have been the right fit for our brand. Courchevel is a perfect setting, with La Sivoliére offering a well established and luxurious hotel, 5 star, but a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The best kept secret in Courchevel, we like to think of ourselves in the same way with our London establishments.
This project seemed like the perfect natural progression for Nuriss, to spread its wings and launch our international medi-spa on the slopes. We also have a ready made-client base who spend much of the winter season in the region and are delighted that they can continue their treatment programmes whilst they are away” explains Dr AJ Sturnham.

The range of cutting edge, rejuvenating, facial and body treatments, as well as luxurious, rehabilitative massage treatments, are designed to counteract the adverse effects that high altitude, UV, sub-zero temperatures and skiing have on our skin and bodies.
“Many people find that they ‘let themselves go’ on a ski trip,” says Dr AJ Sturnham. “Their skin health suffers, thanks to environmental triggers, and quite often their diets and waistlines suffer too. I have always thought that ski trips seem like such a wasted opportunity to get healthy. The slopes can actually be the perfect setting to rest, rejuvenate and repair. That’s why I designed the Nuriss at La Sivolière ‘après-ski’ menu, which very much focuses on recovery and health, rather than indulging in alcoholic drinks and calorific food.”
With a strong focus on total wellbeing, Dr AJ Sturnham’s team of experts are also able to advise on areas of nutrition, supplementing and exercise, making Nuriss at La Sivolière the ultimate destination for total rejuvenation.
The treatments, which are available in-room, as well as in the spa, range from specialist sports massage and lymph drainage to facial rejuvenation and reflexology, with a focus on instant technology that involves minimal downtime for maximum results. With a hand selected team of experts available for hotel and non-hotel guests to book in with on any day, Dr AJ Sturnham herself, will be available by private appointment only.
The Après Ski massage, which combines lymphatic drainage and stimulating massage to eliminate lactic acid and toxins from the body, helps to aid muscle recovery and improve circulation, while Foot Reflexology, stimulates blood and lymph flow to reduce tension and boost soft tissue repair.
Nuriss at La Sivolière also offer a range of treatments using advanced radiofrequency, ultrasound and HydraFacial technology to boost and repair the skin at a cellular level.
The Phytocellular Stem Cell Infusion Facial is a revolutionary breakthrough, designed to infuse the skin, using an ultrasound device, with rejuvenating stem cells that work at the level of the skin’s DNA, to help produce new and more youthful stem cells for radiant and hydrated skin.
