A pioneer in global wellness, Chiva-Som in Hua Hin, Thailand has announced it will reopen its doors on 12 June, 2020.
As Thailand gradually eases its lockdown, Chiva-Som is making essential preparations for operations to resume, in accordance with local government guidelines and advice. Chiva-Som embraces guests’ goals for healthy food, exercise and immunity-boosting activities in a safe and tranquil environment.
Transitioning to the ‘new normal’, heightened hygiene measures include all the measures guests would expect, such as COVID-19 testing and quarantine for contact staff, as well as temperature checks upon arrival, deep cleaning of guest rooms, frequent disinfection of all equipment, social distancing – as needed, and complimentary hand sanitiser and masks on tap for guests.
“Even during our closure, we have made the wellness of our guests our priority and adapted our services to offer wellness support online” said Krip Rojanastien, Chairman and CEO of Chiva-Som. “We are re-opening on 12 June with a mission to enhance our services further, at a time when it is essential to feel safe. Staying well is the key to combating future viral attacks. The world will never be the same, but wellness is here to stay.”
Upon reopening new additions in the wellness journey will be available – specifically targeting post-lockdown concerns from a spiritual, mental and physical health perspective.
For those who cannot travel to Thailand just yet, the resort is offering Chiva-Som Privilege Wellness Vouchers which can be purchased for future visits or as a gift of wellness for loved ones. Guests will receive up to a 15 per cent discount for a minimum purchase of THB 50,000. Vouchers are available for purchase until 31 July 2020 and are valid for stays up until 31 December, 2021.
