80s Yoga Retreats in Mallorca

House of Voga, which offers 80s-inspired yoga classes combining fashion, dance and fitness, has just announced its upcoming yoga retreats in Deia, Mallorca. Fortunately, there are two opportunities to sign up and go on this retreat – 1-5 June and 18-22 September.

Set in the beautiful village of Deia, experience the euphoric combination of VOGA, healing treatments, music and healthy food. Yogis can expect stunning views in a truly tranquil and warm environment, making this the perfect holiday for self-challenge and discovery. HOV Co-Founder, Juliett Murrell, promises “this is no ordinary retreat”.

The week offers guests the chance to explore the breath synchronised movement of yoga with the empowering effect of dance and music. Each day will begin with a grounding, slow but strong Vinyasa-style yoga class to wake the body gently and prepare the muscles for a more energetic, early-evening VOGA session with some of our favourite guest DJs on the island.

Yogis will reside in a stylish 300-year-old refurbished house which is renowned as the home for the Deia ‘Open Mic.’ Stepping into the heart of the village is truly a paradise, opening up upon entrance. There is an open-plan living area for guests to gather, a salt water swimming pool, music space with a white baby grand piano, outdoor terrace and kitchen for gathering for evening meals.

Health and food enthusiast Lauren Breckon will be nourishing the group with fresh, locally-picked food, ensuring the menu is colourful, healthy and a delight to eat. In addition, Masseuse Sadie Pickering will be offering full body massages as well as Skin-Soul Rhythm Of Beauty Summer Seasonal Alignments and Facials, illustrating the importance of balance, self-love and how our daily rituals root the soul.

Co-Founder Juliett Murrell will be practicing morning sunrise VOGA to awaken and energise the body, with a sunset yoga to work slowly into the muscles and release any tension or stress with flow and fluidity.

Juliett explains, “Very excited to be out in Deia for more magical clifftop and hidden beach experiences with our retreaters. It’s always lovely to see how yoga, music and dance has the power to free your inhibitions and create life-long deeply rooted friendships. It’s a chance to explore the true you.”

HOV is still accepting bookings, but they are limited to 15 spaces per retreat. To enquire or sign up now, email [email protected].
