Czech mountains with a Czech Skipass
Czech Skipass is a unique season ticket that opens the turnstiles of 175 chair and ski lifts in 23 leading Czech ski resorts. You can use it to visit the most popular ski resorts such as Špindlerův Mlýn, Lipno, Klínovec, Monínec and many others. The basic price of the Czech Skipass is CZK 11,000; children pay a reduced rate of CZK 8,000. There are also special rates for seniors and young people up to the age of 18.
Monínec has the longest ski season
Monínec is a popular ski resort near the capital city of Prague. The state-of-the-art technology they use there allows for artificial snow in temperatures above zero and the ski season there lasts from October to March. There are two red ski slopes, 1,200 and 600 metres long, the Hotel ski slope, a snow park and a Funline track.
Entertainment for the whole family at the Lipno Ski Resort
The Lipno Ski Resort is an ideal place to entertain the whole family, including those who do not ski. While you are enjoying the first-class 11-kilometre-long ski slopes, your little ones can have fun at the top-equipped training playgrounds, animation programmes and toboggan track. Older children will definitely appreciate ski-cross tracks and snow parks. The whole family can discover the natural beauty of the region at the nearby Treetop Walkway or enjoy some fun at Aquaworld Lipno.
Špindlerův mlýn – winter holiday of the highest quality
Špindlerův mlýn is not only a popular mountain resort, but also a place with a rich social life where even the most demanding guests can find entertainment. The Ski resort, spread out across four mountains, offers quality slopes of various difficulties, dozens of kilometres of first-rate cross country ski trails and snow parks for beginners and professionals. You can recover in one of the local wellness centres and hotels. You can have fun at Aquapark Špindl, paragliding or riding ATVs, or enjoying the luxurious local gastronomy. The winter season starts on 9 December 2017.
Jizerská 50 – cross country ski event of the year.
The Jizera Mountains are popular for their unique cross country trails. Jizerská magistrála is the most famous: it is almost 180 kilometres long and every year there is a cross country ski race called the Jizerská 50. In addition to the main distance of 50 kilometres, this prestigious competition also offers shorter trails: 10, 25 and 30 kilometres, both standard and free style. This season it is the 51st year, and it will take place from 16-18 February 2018. You can register on the organiser’s website by the end of January 2018.
