Fairmont Windsor Park Opens January

Fairmont Windsor Park, located on the edge of Windsor Great Park and The Savill Garden, is the UK’s newest luxury spa and wellness hotel officially opening 1 January 2022.

Setting an unprecedented standard in the UK, Fairmont Spa & Wellness offers a unique approach to wellness inspired by nature, combining relaxation with innovation. The wellness experience extends beyond the spa to create a sense of calm and tranquillity throughout the hotel.

Fairmont Spa & Wellness is “transformational, authentic and community-based for people that are focused on becoming the best versions of themselves, with informed services that provide wellness on every level, be it a personalised wellness pathway, 4D body scan or traditional Hammam experience.” says Lisa Barden, Group Director of Spa & Wellness at Arora Group. “We are a one-stop wellness and spa space for all.” explains Lisa, who leads the launch of the new spa alongside Spa & Wellness Director, Carlos Urrutigoity and a passionate team of experts committed to offering guests and members a bespoke, transformational experience for body, mind and spirit in a serene setting.

Spanning 2,500m² across two floors, the sprawling spa features 18 treatment rooms, four wellness rooms, indoor and outdoor pools (including a 20m indoor pool), a Himalayan salt room and a thermal suite encompassing a sauna, steam room, hot tub and a heated tepidarium bench.

The real highlights are the Japanese Ashiyu foot ritual bath and the UK’s first spa multi-person Cryotherapy Chamber – both accessible to those with life-limiting conditions. Known for its powerful multitude of benefits, cryotherapy can boost metabolism, reduce migraines and muscle pain, enhance energy and athletic performance and improve both sleep and mood. Guests can also experience traditional marble Hammam experiences designed by La Sultane de Saba, a luxury brand derived from Paris that honours ancient Moroccan beauty rituals and offers thermal treatments to boost health, remove impurities and promote deeper relaxation.

Fairmont Spa & Wellness houses both light and deep relaxation rooms, a Himalayan salt room overlooking the beautiful courtyard hydrotherapy vitality pool and an array of additional fitness and wellness facilities. As well as both an indoor and outdoor gym, the hotel is home to three outdoor tennis courts and three group class studios.

The Mind & Body Studio will focus on mind-to-muscle connection with Hatha Yoga and meditation, whilst the Pilates Studio will offer both mat and reformer Pilates and there is also a Cycling Studio and a variety of HIIT, boxing and other high-energy classes on offer. At 272m², the Wellness Suite has been designed by industry experts and is equipped with the Technogym Artis cardio and strength range, as well as some of their best and most innovative solutions.

All the Technogym solutions have been chosen for empowering training experiences which perfectly complement the bespoke exercise programmes and personal training available. UK gym specialist Jigsaw Fitness have also brought their expertise as well as a bespoke gym rig, outdoor gym, and other specialist equipment.

Recognising the importance of both mental and physical health for a 360° approach to wellness, there is a dedicated mental health specialist on hand to provide personalised diagnostics, and there will also be advanced consultations, transformative treatments and personalised pathways available to guests and members to guide recovery and rehabilitation.

Other highlight treatments and therapies include expert European skincare, massages, ayurvedic rituals, vitamin infusions, osteopathy, nutritional therapy, acupuncture and much more. In addition, members can take advantage of Health Assessments (with cardiac stress tests & lifestyle review), 4D body scanning, colon hydrotherapy and dry flotation treatments.

A carefully curated experience, Fairmont Spa & Wellness is truly indulgent for all the senses and aims to leave guests feeling revitalised, nourished and relaxed at the hands of highly skilled therapists and prestigious spa partners, chosen for their excellence, sophistication and passion for a personalised and authentic approach.

There is an onsite barbershop by Truefitt & Hill, recognised as the world’s oldest and finest traditional gentlemen’s barber and perfumer in London, operating since 1805. Skincare will be provided by luxury wellness brand Comfort Zone known for its indulgent experiential treatments, results driven skin care and body rituals, that use clinically proven, vegan formulas and high tech ingredients.
