Chiva-Som International Health Resort in Hua Hin has been honoured in this year’s Condé Nast Traveller Spa Awards, winning the top award for Best Destination Spa 2020.
The awards, sponsored by the wellness travel specialists Healing Holidays, recognise the top-level retreats, the most-results-driven health centres and the hottest spas around the world, with winners chosen by the magazine’s editorial team and a panel of industry experts.
The announcement, presented at a prestigious awards ceremony at London’s Lanesborough Hotel on 28 January, comes as the resort prepares to celebrate 25 years of operation in April this year. Comprehensively renewed and re-energised after a phased five-year, top-to-toe refurbishment, the ‘new’ Chiva-Som reopened for business in October 2019.
