Derby will be the setting for the UK Dracula Film Festival this September, as part of the city’s programme of events celebrating the  centenary of the first staging of the stage play Dracula, which was in Derby.

Spread over three days the film festival will celebrate all fangs to do with Dracula from movie classics to the somewhat more weird. It will also include talks with experts discussing the legacy of the world’s most famous vampire on the world of film

It will run from 20 to 22 September 2024

Which Film are Screened?

Films include Bram Stoker’s Dracula; Bella Lugosi’s Dracula; Countess Dracula and Abbott and Costello Meet Dracula. Most films are shown at night.
