The Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival, is an international music festival running from 30 April to 11 May, 2025 in the Caribbean island. The 2024 festival starred Air Supply, Davido (main image), Samara Joy, Machel Montano, Beres Hammond, Chloe Bailey and Jon Secada.
Since its inception in 1992, The Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival has grown over the years into the largest jazz festival in the Caribbean.
A two-week jazz and arts festival showcasing the best jazz, Afro beats Soca, Zouk, reggae, pop, rock and gospel music in the nation, region and the world in beautiful St Lucia. What could be better?

St Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival 2024 Lineup
The main events include:
30 April : Opening Night
7 and 9 May : Pure Jazz
8 May : Kingdom Night
10 May : Caribbean Fusion
11 May : World Beats
12 May : The Ultimate Celebration.
Performers at the festival include national and international artists. Other artists performing include: Voice, Romain Virgo, Alison Marquis, John Patitucci, Nigella St. Clair, Carlin Davis, Donnie McClurkin, Vaughnette Bigford, Meshach, Vayb, Carl Gustave, Augustin Jab Duplessis and Baby Face.
A lot of the festival events will be free to attend.
Saint Lucia Arts
The theme for the 2024 arts festival is Arts and the City, with visual arts being taken around the island. The flagship event will be the work of Saint Lucian artist Llewellyn Xavier
There will also be poetry, improv the spoken words, as well as fashion displays, highlighting the best of Saint Lucia’s creative talent. Silk pan music will be played around the island, and there will be a market as well.

The festival strives to minimise the use of plastic during the festival, and for the festival to have a minimum impact on Pigeon Island monument.
The History of the The Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival
Since humble beginnings in 1992, this festival was grown in stature and has attracted great artists including Sting, Amy Winehouse, Rihanna, Elton John, Herbie Hancock, The Jacksons, Lauryn Hill, Santana and UB40.
Many consider it to be the Caribbean’s premier jazz festival.

Other Things to Do on St Lucia
The Pitons, two steep volcanic peaks and protected as Unesco World Heritage Sites, can be hiked for their route through the rainforest and incredible views from the top.
Sulphur Springs is billed as one of very few drive-in volcanoes, but it also has mud baths that locals say have therapeutic properties.
Pigeon Island National Park features a ruined fort and has pleasant walks. On the west coast is the capital, Castries, that has a colourful market and is worth exploring.
Of course, there are the white sand beaches and great diving and snorkelling. Other sports include fishing, golf, sailing and cricket.
