Adrian Wootton, CEO of Film London, presents Sergio Leone’s timeless classic spaghetti western Once Upon a Time in the West at the Barbican Cinema 1 on 10 December.
Wootton looks at the legacy of Leone, cemented by Once Upon a Time in The West, which announced the director as one of the greatest Italian filmmakers.
The 1969 film is shown in a new 4k digital restoration on 10 December at 1.50pm in the Barbican Cinema 1. It lasts 166 minutes.
The film starring Henry Fonda, Claudia Cardinale and Charles Bronson includes the most amazing score by the incomparable Ennio Morricone. The best Western of all time? You decide.
