The Poperinge Beer Festival is one of the most popular beer festivals in Belgium. Held in the town of Poperinge close to the French border, near Ypres, the beer festival is now celebrating its 27th anniversary.
The Belgian beer festival features some of the best beers in the region, as well as launching new beers especially at the festival.
Dubbed Belgium‘s cosiest beer festival, Poperinge drew more than 1,800 festival goers in 2023. These came from as far afield as Estonia and Costa Rica as well as Belgium.
There is also food and live music at the festival which is held in Maeke Blyde festival hall in Poperinge.
Poperinge Beer Festival 2024
The 2024 beer festival will be held on 26 and 27 October, 2024. It is organised by Beerclub Poperinge, with the municipality of Poperinge.
This year there will be some 125 beers from 25 breweries. You can find the selection of breweries on display here. There will also be some special beers especially for the festival.
Live Music
In addition to the beer, there will be live music from the MG’s Brothers, and Blue Jerry.
Admission
Admission is free from 2:30 pm to 11pm. A starter pack costs €15, and includes one glass and five tokens.

The festival will be in the Maeke Blyde, turned into a cosy beer village with wooden floor, expanded beer terrace. It’s address is Doornstraat 43, 8970 Poperinge.
