This June will see the 32nd Annual Parade the Circle as well as the Circle Village at the Wade Oval Cleveland. The festival starts the summer in the Circle season. Thousands of people are expected to arrive for one of the biggest days in the Cleveland festival scene.
The Carnival Parade itself starts at noon and fills the oval with floats, costumes and towering puppets created by local groups and individuals.
This year, Héctor Castellanos Lara is the lead artist for Parade the Circle, and the theme is “Visions of Harmony,”
From 10am there will be a series of events in the Oval in the Circle Village for all ages, including music from the Latin City Soul Band, and food.
Parade the Circle 2024
There will be a series of activities including:
Storytime and face painting from Cleveland Public Library & Literacy Cooperative; Colour your own Natural History from Cleveland Museum of Natural History; wellness activities in line with Global Wellness Day, Shark Art from Greater Cleveland Aquarium, instrument discovery from the Cleveland Orchestra and poetry creation with Poetry Free Cleveland.
Food Vendors
This year’s food vendors are: Kernels by Chrissie; Glacial Concessions; Deal’s Fresh Lemonade; Rascal House Pizza; Odd Dog Coffee; Pop Culture and Whoa Dough.
