Held in the Yorkshire market town of Malton, the Malton Christmas Festival is two days of food, music and fun held across the weekend of 7 to 8 December.
The free festival involves street food vendors, Christmas stalls and live music, as well as entertainment for all the family. Enjoy gin, mulled wine, beer as well as fig puddings and turkey while shopping in Yorkshire’s Food Capital. Further details of what is involved can be found here.
This year Emerald the Elf will be making her debut in an interactive Santa show complete with Santa’s Grotto for £5.
Live Music will be performed by (2023 festival details which will be updated closer to the event): SASH Choir: “Preventing Youth Homelessness Together” on Saturday 9.30am – 3.30pm, and Outside Hoppers: Salvation Army Band, 11am – 1pm. On Sunday December : 10am – 11.30am: Richard Shepherd Music Foundation – Malton; 11.30am – 12.15pm: Singing in Ryedale; 1pm – 2.30pm: Richard Shepherd Music – Gillamore; and 11am – 1pm: White Star Band.
