The UK‘s biggest air balloon bonanza, Icons of the Sky, the Longleat Sky Safari, will take place this 13 to 15 September at the the nation’s premier safari park in Wiltshire. Numerous balloons will lift to the skies over the three days for the Longleat Sky Safari. 

In addition to Simbaloo, Longleat’s lion-shaped hot air balloon, expect to see a koala, cheetah, panther, wolf, owl and parrot take to the air. Other crowd favourite balloon’s include the Ricoh Cube, Scottish Cup, Up Balloon, an Emoji and a tea pot.

Longleat Sky Safari Tickets

All visitors will have full access to the event for the three days without any increase in the normal day price of entry to Longleat. You can purchase a ticket here.

How to Get to Longleat

If travelling by car, Longleat is off the A36 between Bath and Salisbury. Parking is free. By train, the nearest station is Frome with a service to Bath and London. Warminster station is 5 miles from Longleat, and Westbury station 12 miles away.

Longleat Safari Park and Longleat House

A day ticket includes entry to Longleat Safari Park, with Cheetah Kingdom, the monkey drive through, the lions of Longleat, as well as Koala Creek, Adventure Castle, Jungle Kingdom and Monkey Temple. The ticket also entails entry to Longleat House and Gardens.
