Leominster & Hereford Kite Festival, Berrington Hall

Hereford and Leominster Kite Festival

Children flying kites in the grounds at Allan Bank, Grasmere, Cumbria. Once home to William Wordsworth and Canon Rawnsley, Allan Bank was rescued from the ravages of fire in 2011.

Berrington Hall will see the return of The Hereford and Leominster Kite Festival in July. Either bring your own kite, or watch hundreds of kites take to the air. The flying site will be on the lawns leading to the lake.

Entry to Berrington Hall National Trust

Entry is free with a ticket to Berrington Hall National Trust, which includes entrance to the Hall and Gardens which are well worth a visit.

Hereford and Leominster Kite Festival Programme

This is very informal festival according to the oganisers who seem to be winging it. The programme is flexible with a fly-in around 10:30am and it should conclude around 5pm. There is plenty of space.
