Music lovers should head for the Formentera Jazz Festival this summer. The beautiful Balearic island will host emerging and established artists for four days in June. The programme features local, Spanish and international performers.
The island has attracted artists as well as holidaymakers over the decades so it seems inevitable that it would have a jazz festival.
Launched in 2015, the festival is a unique musical event that encapsulates the inherent beauty of the island, as well as the freedom that epitomises jazz.

Musicians performing at the 2024 Jazz Festival of Formentera include: Andrés Coll & The Groove Machine; Ibiza Cool Jazz Orchestra; Alfredo Rodríguez Trío; Magdalini; World Groove Collective; Golfo de Guinea & Lady Avocado; and Nacho Marco. A full list of the programme can be found here.

Venues
The jazz festival will be held at various venues around the island including an Francisco Square, Chezz Gerdi, Es Pujols, Es Pujols Beach and Pelayo, and Es Mal Pas, Migjorn.
