The Dorset town of Lyme Regis, immortalised in John Fowles’ novel The French Lieutenant’s Woman, will once more be the setting for the seventh Food Rocks this September.

Spread over two days, the food fest curated by famed restaurateur-cum-chef, Mark Hix, who hails from the town, unites the best of the worlds of food and drink, with local producers mingling with top chefs.

This year, Hix will be joined in Lyme Regis by other leading chefs, Angela Hartnett, Mitch Tonks and Richard Bertinet. There will be a series of talks and demos at the main tent from 11:30am to 5:30pm, with guests able to sample many of the dishes using seafood caught by local fishermen for a donation to charity.

Food Rocks raises money for the RNLI and Fisherman’s Mission.
