Festival Premiers Plans d’Angers is an international film festival held in Northern France each January. This year marks the 37th edition of the festival which was established with the aim of discovering new filmmaking talent and highlighting the diversity of European cinema.

Nicole Garcia will preside over the Feature Film Jury. The list of films in the premier plan competition can be found at the festival’s website.

Festival Premiers Plans d’Angers Competition

Approximately 100 films feature in competition at the festival in seven categories. There is also a workshop aimed at assisting filmmakers producing their first feature film.

It will be held from 18 to 26 January.

Where Is It?

It is held in the city of Angers in the Loire valley, France. Films will be screened at: Centre de Congrès Jean-Monnier; Cinémas Les 400 Coups; Pathé Angers; Grand Théâtre; La Collégiale Saint-Martin; Le Joker’s; and Le Quai CDN.

Tickets cost €9 per session (€6 concessions). Individual passes are also available. Tickets can be purchased here.
