Held every February in St Boniface,  Winnipeg’s French District, the festival draws around 95,000 travellers every year to enjoy the French-Canadian and Métis heritage and culture of Manitoba.

The Festival du Voyageur will be held from 16 to 25 February, 2024. Details of the the programme of events can be found here.

What to Expect?

Admire amazing snow sculptures created by artists from around the globe, go to live music gigs, and enjoy the excellent French-Canadian cuisine, while meeting some of the historical characters that frequent Fort Gibraltar.

The Festival of the Traveller combines traditions from the past with the vitality of today’s Manitoban community.

Organisers declare this to be an unmissable ‘kitchen party’.
