Cape Town in South Africa is a vibrant hub of culture and creativity. At the heart of the city’s festivities is the Cape Town Carnival, an iconic Cape Town event that ignites joy and unity through creativity.
There will be more than 1,200 performers at the Carnival. These consisted of both community groups and individuals.

Cape Town Carnival 2025 Dates?
The carnival is on March 15, 2025 and will last from 3pm until around midnight. The parade will be from 7pm to 10pm. There will be pre and post parade events in the Carnival Villages. The most vibrant carnival is at The Fanwalk, Green Point, Cape Town on Saturday, 15 March 2025. The parade starts at the cnr. Main Rd & Granger Bay Blvd (opposite the circle), and ends at cnr. Somerset Rd & Chiappini St, along the Fanwalk.
Carnival 2025 Highlights
Carnival Villages Open and 3pm. The Pre-Parade Kickoff is at 6pm with the Main Parade starting at 7pm.
