History of Moonsplash
Founded in 1991, Moonsplash is a tapestry woven with music, culture and the spirit of Anguilla. Experience the legacy of reggae through performances by Bankie Banx himself and witness the growth of local talent nurtured by this platform.
What to Expect at the Bankie Banx’s Moonsplash Music Festival
Expect a genre-bending spectacle. Experience the infectious groove of Protoje’s conscious reggae, rewind to the roots with The Legendary Wailers, and sing along to a Jimmy Buffett tribute. Though it is more than music as Moonsplash supports local arts, boat racing and education, fostering a vibrant community.
In this intimate atmosphere, you will also discover rising Anguillan talent alongside global stars like Toots & The Maytals, Buju Banton and Chronixx. The Dune Preserve live music bar is to the west of the Aurora Anguilla Resort and Golf Club, about three miles from the main settlement of The Valley and the airport.
